Every Shape of Business

Build your flow.

Your FlowState takes the shape of your business. One system, organized eight ways, because an orb can be a company, a client, a location, a practice, or a person, and the system reorganizes around what you need to keep together.

Every picture on this page says what it is: the real product, a labelled example family, or a demonstration. Nothing here pretends to be something it is not.

Every business is a marble. Every marble opens into a workspace.
01

One business, organized

The orbs

One master orb for the business. Under it: departments and service lines, the projects that matter, and a Vault for every person on the roster.

The owner opens one Overview and sees the leads, every customer conversation in one inbox, the team's week, who has actually completed which training, and the books, all in the same place the work happens.

One business, one screen. The whole company stops living in the owner's head.

02

The agency roster, private label

The orbs

The agency is the parent orb. Every client is a child orb in that client's own colors, holding that client's workspace, inbox, socials, documents, and agent.

The agency's Overview becomes the roster view: the whole book of business on one screen, each client a tile that opens into their own workspace. On every client-facing surface, the agency's brand leads. The system underneath is the engine room, and the agency sells through it under its own name.

Every client, one screen, your name on the door.

03

Private equity and holding companies

The orbs

The fund or holding company is the top orb. Each portfolio company is a full child orb, with its own workspace, roster, books, and brand.

The parent sees rollups, not internals: a consolidated picture across companies that each keep their own books and their own identity. Each company sees only itself. A new acquisition becomes a new orb the day it closes, and a diligence target can sit on the map as a prospect, dimmed, until it earns its place.

Own many companies, see them like one, without flattening any of them.

04

Franchises and multi-location

The orbs

The brand is the parent orb. Each location is a child orb: the same palette, its own workspace, its own roster, its own books.

The center publishes standards and trainings once, and they land in every location's library, with completion tracked per person, per site. Locations order their cards, shirts, and signage from the same brand kit, so the brand stays the brand. A location owner sees only their own locations, and one franchisee never sees another's numbers.

One brand, many doors: standards the center can publish and prove.

Demonstration family. A fictional parent over seven companies, rendered to show the pattern. A franchise network has the same shape, one brand over many locations, each location opening into its own workspace.
05

Family office and stewardship

The orbs

The family itself is the top orb. Under it: a Vault for each member, the family's companies and holdings, and the circles of care around them.

Family scopes carry the strictest privacy in the system: masked everywhere outside the family, and absent from public surfaces entirely. The papers a family scrambles for in a crisis, the appointments, the care coverage, the people trusted to help: all of it in one place the family controls, visible to the family and nobody else.

The family's paperwork, people, and care, in one private place only the family can see.

Demonstration: a fictional person's Vault, holding their documents and credentials, their week, their trainings, and their payroll summary
Demonstration. The Vault every person carries: their documents, their week, their trainings, in one place. In a family, each member holds one. Real family workspaces are never shown publicly.
06

Networks and associations

The orbs

The network is the parent orb. Each member business is a child orb with its own workspace, sovereign inside its own scope.

The network publishes a shared library of trainings into every member's hub and can show who completed what, per person, per member. Members get a working business system, not just a directory listing. And a member's clients, leads, and finances never roll up: membership is a roof, not a window.

A network that gives every member a working system, not just a logo and a monthly call.

Demonstration: a fictional training library with completion tracked across a roster of people
Demonstration. A training library published once by the network, with completion tracked for every member's people: assigned, watched, completed, each with its date.
07

Partner and referral lines

The orbs

The partner's line is a parent orb. Each client the partner brings in is a child orb issued under the line, with the referral recorded at the moment the number is issued.

The partner keeps the client relationship and the credit, because attribution is a registry fact, not a memory. Delivery happens inside each client's workspace, under the partner's brand where the arrangement is white labelled. The partner sees their whole line in one view, and one partner's clients never see each other.

Bring in clients, keep the relationship and the credit. The system remembers whose book it is.

Demonstration family. A parent with its companies nested beneath it. A partner's line uses the same nesting for the clients they introduce, each one stamped with who brought them in.
08

Firms and partnerships

The orbs

The firm is the parent orb. Each partner holds a person orb and a book: their clients as child orbs, attributed to that partner.

What is firm-wide rolls up: headcount, the firm's books, shared standards and continuing education, the firm's own inbox. A partner's book stays that partner's: the firm sees counts and status, never the contents of a colleague's clients. Every associate and staff member carries a Vault with their credentials, verifiable at a glance.

One firm, many books: shared where the firm is shared, private where a partner's clients are a partner's.

A composition in the FlowState marble system, drawn to show the shape: the firm, its partners, and the client books each partner holds. A visual treatment, not a screen capture.
By Industry

Same system, different orbs

The modules never change. What an orb means does. Twelve industries, twelve answers to the same question: what do you need to keep together?

Healthcare

Orbs are clinics and practices under the group. Every practitioner's credentials live in their Vault, and no clinic sees another clinic's conversations.

Dentists

Orbs are practices. One group over many chairs, each practice with its own roster, schedule, and books.

Home services

Orbs are crews and service lines. Schedules, jobs, and completed trainings are tracked per person.

Real estate

Orbs are agents and teams under the brokerage. Each agent's clients stay inside that agent's own scope.

Law firms

Orbs are partners' books and the clients inside them. Client documents stay in the client's own Vault.

Accounting firms

Orbs are clients. The firm's books stay the firm's; a client's books never mix into them.

Restaurants and hospitality

Orbs are locations under the group. Standards publish once, and completion is proven per site.

Dealerships

Orbs are rooftops under the group. Each store keeps its own roster, inbox, and numbers.

Property management

Orbs are properties and the owners behind them. Tenant conversations live in the property's inbox.

Gyms and studios

Orbs are locations. Coaches' certifications sit in their Vaults; classes sit on the schedule.

Med spas

Orbs are locations and the practitioners in them. Credentials and trainings are tracked per person.

Nonprofits

Orbs are programs and chapters. The board sees the rollup; each program runs its own workspace.

One System, Your Shape

The orb is whatever you need to keep together

A company. A client. A location. A practice. A portfolio. A person. Most software makes each of those buy a different product. FlowState is one system that reorganizes around your shape, not the other way around.

You make your own flow.
